1985 Land Rover Defender 110 Td5 diesel
This is the truck you have been waiting for. If you want the look but still want the comfort then this is the truck, The TD5 is a very quiet, very smooth, and very quiet diesel engine. The transmission is flawless in it’s shifting. The AC blows cold, all the seats are very comfortable, headliner is excellent. Interior is super clean, no rust anywhere on the truck. Alloy wheels, new tires, drives smooth and very quiet. Just completed an 800mile trip in the truck with the family and the truck loaded down and got almost 25 mpg cruising down the highway. Truck needs nothing. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this truck across country tomorrow. This is a truck that won’t disappoint you.

Isn't this a bit much for a 1985 vehicle?

Actually thats a pretty fair price. Looks like a nice truck. Its usually a get what yo pay for scenario. I have seen many 110s that are overpriced, others that are pretty good deal. Would like to see motor, interior and undercarriage photos.

If its in concours condition and the frame and everything is perfect then its about right in the price....compare it to a 90's defender 110 sold in the USA and its about par with those prices. If it has frame rot or anything along those lines then the value...in my mind....drops considerably.

I am so lucky this one didn't come from Solihull as a LHD! And thank goodness I (for some reason) cannot convince myself to buy a conversion. Whew! That was a close one!

Personally...and this is only my opinion...if this "1985" truck had a new galvanized frame then $49k would be a fair price...however it doesn't!

Saying that I like to see inflated prices for old Rovers. Just make sure all the numbers match and that it was done correctly (legally).
