Hi all,
I'm planning a road trip from NY to WY (yellow stone) which is approximately 1800 miles one way. I'd like to prepare as much as possible and prep my D90 to the my best of abilities. With that said i'm looking for some advice on what you guys think i should do to avoid any sort of mechanical failures in advance.
I'm currently driving a 200TDI D90 with 80K on the motor, the chassis has ~175K. The truck drives great with no major issues and has been maintained very well, but i haven't driven it further than about 500 miles in one sitting, which is why I'm sort of hesitant to go for a journey this far.
So basically what do you think i should do prior to a trip like this just to make sure I'm good and can avoid as many issues as possible.. Obviously I'm expecting problems to arise but the fewer the better.
