Any advice for what to use for warnout shocks? I currently have the OME. If I want to maintain the original ride or make it less stiff, what should I consider?

Go with OE springs and either Bilstien or Procomp shocks.
I have Procomp on my 97 DI, which handles well both on and off-road, though it tends to re-verberate through the suspension when railway lines or potholes are crosed at speed.
My Def 90 has Bilsteins, which give, IMHO, a "softer ride".

a few questions might help:
1. are you planning to add a winch and associated winch type bumper in the future?
2. how much "stuff" do you carry or plan to carry in the 90?
3. are you planning to possibly fit a larger diameter tire or planning to stay with the stock size?
4. are you planning to remove the sway bars in the future?
5. are you planning to add a roof rack in the future?
All of the above could influence your options.

I agree with Les:

This is the suspension installed in my RRC.

Would you do the steering damper as well? Does it make as big of difference as advertised?
