Hey guys,

New to the block but this is my project, the 66 Series IIA,
I've seen a few pictures of neat custom bumpers and things, since I've got to pretty well build a new frame and front and rear cross members under this thing I'll probably end up making cool bumpers. Attachment 12023Attachment 12024

Do yourself a huge favor and ditch the drum brakes and go with Forbyn discs. I switched and would rate this change as one of the best things I've ever done.

I don't think I've ever seen a seat back with that much recline!
Ummm...I parked on a steep hill. Yeah. That's it. Steep hill.
I acquired NADA #768 a few months ago. Still has the Westlake engine. Started out as a Carawagon Continental model but most of the Carawagon parts are gone now. It's in nice condition, very little rust, runs well. I've redone the steering, new wheels and tires, replace the door moldings, installed retractable 3pt seatbelts, reupholstered the center seats. Now working on window channels and soon will lift the body to clean up the chassis. Living in Plant City, FL if anyone wants to stop by and talk Landrovers. I grew up with these in West Africa in the 60's and 70's and happy now to have one that looks just like what we had in Africa. Look forward to seeing it, I'll be in your neighbourhood (Riverview) in February !
