    Default Zenith >> Weber

I have obtained a new Weber 34 ICH carb for replacing my zenith on a 225 petrol. The carb does not have a throttle linkage. Is there an adapter linkage available or do I use the linkage from my zenith to connect the carb?

The Weber should bolt right on, use the threaded ball from the Zenith accel. lever, connect the original ball joint to the Weber and you should be ready to go.

I've same problem and the Zenith accelerator lever won't fit on Weber - threaded shaft on the Weber is 0.5mm too big. Any other suggestions? I don't want to take the angle grinder to the Zenith accelerator lever just yet.

For a second I thought you were implying that zenith is greater than weber. Them's fightin words. I have done this swap before and you may have to play with the 2nd to last linkage that is bolted to the bulkhead to give you a little more wiggle room at the last linkage area. What are you going to do with that old Zenith? I am sure the forum folks have lots of clever ideas.
