Default 90 Classic, Hand Brake Wont Disengage

This morning I was planning to take my 90 Classic for a ride, but I could not completely release the hand brake, it felt as through something was holding it or hung up...wasn't frozen, but could not get complete release.

    Any thoughts???

tap the parking brake drum with a hammer (after release of course).
    this shall help it release.
need less to say dissasemble clean and service to ensure proper further operation.

So, did you get the handbrake to release?

Also, turning the adjuster to its minimum might help.

Yes it did release, about an hour later, strange...could cable rust be possible?

Les, where is the location of the adjuster?
