    Super-sized pop-rivet. Used them on the Acela/Amtrac contract at Bombardier. Massive clamping capabilities for a dissimular materials situation. Requires specialized equipment to facilitate use.
    Sooo ??? What's the project? Fastenal has some types in their catalog.

    Landrover calls for these on Defenders to fasten the under body crossmembers to the lower body I wanted to know if any body had used them for this or any other application.
    After talking with some other folks I have found out thet they were developed in WWII for the aircraft industry, in UK and are used extensively in coachwork etc. on buses and trucks.
