Forrest usually shows up at Metal Dash, and has flyers for Deer Lake.

Anyone going to Metal Dash that has a pair of these (tailgate locking plates) they want to get rid of at the parts swap? I'll be there Saturday afternoon, but I've got to be back at work Saturday night.

It's pouring here at home now. I'll see you guys in the morning! I've camped enough in the rain, I don't need any more experience at it!

[QUOTE=SalemRover;75199]Better update your signature from 11.5 minutes to 11 then. For just getting your rover back on the road after 10 months or so I am sure you were grinning the whole time. The lack of doortops does bother me with my son. If only there was someplace or someone near the event that sells door tops.

I just have some take off doors i am willing to part with for a few bob...
pm me if you want me to bring them.
Whence came you my brother ? From the East....

I don't envy the guys who camped out in the rain Friday night, but Saturday turned out to be pretty nice, much better than forecast. It was great to see everyone again. I've posted some photos on the web site:

Great to see friends again and meet some new.
Thanks to Don ,Mike,Judy and Lisa for a great weekend.
And to Jason for the great photo ops of his Rover buried to his gills in the Great Flye mud bog.The only one to successfully get through on his own power(even if he smoked his winch in the process.) He don't need no stinkin' John Deere recovery vehicle
I'll get some pics up later.
    Good times Cheers

Made it home. Sadly the rover is down for a while. I lost my second gear synchro somewhere between Don's house and home. Just drained the oil expecting alot of brass (and there was) and out pops bits of steel gear as well. Never heard anything major on the highway happen. I think it blew parts of second gear exiting a gas station on route 2. I still have all gears up / down and reverse.

Otherwise had a great time and it was alot of fun seeing everyone again. The crop duster will be here soon to fumigate my son clean, so I will post some pics soon.

    Cheers!

    Jason
