    Default Series III Fuse Box

    Hi All,

I just bought my first Series III (1974) and it arrived today from California. I was aware the fuse box was missing and needed to be replaced and I checked with Rovers North (who did not have the part in stock) before ordering the fuse box from another site. Long and short is they sent me a fuse box, but I don't think it is the right one. Anyone out there with a Series III that is willing to take some pics of their fuse box and send them to me?

    Thanks so Much.

It looks exactly like this. On the other side are 4 fuse holders:

    (9.7 minutes now that she's a 3-door).

And it lives under the steering column in case that isn't obvious.

The Lucas fuse block, which uses glass tubular fuses is well known for bad clip tension, causing loss of continuity. Carquest sells a nice little block that uses the modern spade fuses and with very little work can be adapted to fit in the same spot as the S3 fuse block.
