    Question Diagnosing the fuel gauge

I'm pretty sure it's not the senders because both of them showed resistance and would range up and down when you move the arm. Sorry, it was over a year ago when I checked this and forgot what the readings were. Also, checked the wiring down by the switch and everything seemed to be working.

This is a 74' military SIII lightweight, two tank truck and the gauge reads a steady full tank all the time. No change when you switch tanks.

I've heard that there is a relatively easy way to diagnose the fuel gauge it's self. Can some one document the steps here?

    Cheers!
