    Red face you know,,,,

    when total strangers walk up to you at the gas stop and talk to you like you have known them for years, telling you about some relationship to a Rover they have had in the past, you listen nicely and thank them for not calling it a Jeep.

    That happens all of the time. I even took on guy for a ride around town. Hopefully the new 200TDI will make me less enemys on the highway.

    I gave a colleague of mine a ride home in my SIII (we were in Calgary at that time). She had grown up in rural England. Her first comment when we got in and started out was, "I feel like I'm a little girl again in my Dad's Rover." She hadn't been in a Rover in 30 years, but it all came back in a rush I guess. They all smell and sound the same.
