Exceptional condition throughout for a 1987. The mileage is 150K on the chassis with 55K on the engine. The Defender went through a $10,000 chassis-up rebuild in 2006.*
The engine conversion is a 6.2 GMC diesel with 55K on it . This gives you impressive towing capacity and still delivers 25mpg. The gearbox is a Santana heavy duty 5 speed and was bought from Ashcroft, along with the transfer box. Has a custom made stainless exhaust system from the manifold back which has been balanced and flowed to the engine.
The chassis was powder coated at the time of rebuild and built up with polybushes and 2 *lift.
The Defender is in the UK and being shipped to New York with a mid February delivery date. Price includes all shipping and customs charges.
