    Default Discovery 2 oil separator

I've been having an oil-loss problem that I think I've narrowed down to the oil separator being clogged. Looking at the passenger's side valve cover I'm seeing a hose connecting to a nipple on the valve cover. Is the separator under that nipple? I can't find a picture or schematic of this anywhere. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Yes it is, here's a link to the part http://www.roversnorth.com/p-7115-sp...ery-i-pcv.aspx (it says it for a D1 but it's the same in a D2) The old one is probably brittle and will break when you try to remove it, use a pick and break up the broken pieces then suck out the bits with a shop vac.

If you don't have a copy of the RAVE shop manual, you can download one at http://www.landroverresource.com/
