    Default Webasto 300 tdi

Has anyone hooked up a webasto preheater on a 300 tdi. I am installing one right now, and not sure where to plum it into the coolant system. Any help appreciated.

I run the German Eberspacher Hydronic myself. The Wabasto seems
very similar. I installed it according to Eberspacher's instructions; in the heater line coming off the rear of the cylinder head between the engine and the heater matrix. (Make sure you place the exhaust clear of your heater air intake) Leave your heater valve open and it pumps the coolant through the entire engine. Sub zero preheat takes about 20 minutes w/ instant heat and defrost. I use mine a lot to enhance cabin heat while driving. Its an amazing heater, a must have in northern VT. Hope this helps. m
