Thread: Shipping doors? Freight or UPS?

Default Shipping doors? Freight or UPS?

I just sourced a set of middle doors for my 69' 109 from a fellow forum member. Unfortunately they will have to be shipped across a couple of states. Anyone have experience shipping a set of doors? Is freighting them the only way to go or is UPS an option if we try to ship them separately? Of course the cost is always the issue...

I'd opt for UPS too. Doors aren't that heavy.

Some people ship bulky stuff Greyhound. I've never done it but it is an option seldom mentioned.

I have not used them, but many people get quotes from UShip. Supposed to get good rates for shipping larger items.

UPS shouldn't be bad. I'm getting new doors shipped to me from the UK for less than $100.
