    I went through Flagstaff about 3 winters ago on a Christmas Break trip to the Grand Canyon. You can really use those heated seats up there! Damn it was cold!

    Mine have been on for about 18 years now and there is what appears to be a 2 adjacent wire width horizontal line where one of the windscreens had a failure. But there is a chip in the windscreen from a flying rock there so it might have been the cause. I got glass insurance after I noticed the problem. If I have had glass insurance then I would have pointed to the chip and the failed heater lines & asked for a free windscreen replacement for that side.
