Default 1990 Axles under my 109 - wheel bearing issue?

Just drove my 109 with 1990 RRC axles 400 miles in 12 hours. The closer I got home the more I heard a whining noise from the front right of the truck. Then...2 death wobbles today at @40 mph. Removed the front drive shaft but the noise still exists.

Everything up front seems tight except the manual steering which seem to have a sizable dead spot. Can that cause the death wobble?

I think the whining noise is coming from the right front axle. How hard is it to do a bearing job on these axles?

    Thanks much!

Four wheel drive allows you to get stuck
    in places even more inaccessible.
