    Default 1985 LHD 110 CSW 200tdi - SOLD!!!

Factory left hand drive 1985 county station wagon. We have owned it since 2008 and are the third owners. Was originally 2.5 normally aspirated diesel (which I still have in storage for originality) but now has a defender 200tdi, lt77 and lt230. Front disc brakes with rear drums and has power steering. We have taken this on trips through Europe before we imported it in Oct. 2010. The previous owner had his company name on the rear tub and that is why the county stripes are missing.
The following was don just before we purchased it in Aug. 2008.
-New 7.50x16 retread tires which are still like new.
    -Full brake lines
    -Stainless hardware
The Defender 200tdi (not discovery) was used with 80,000 miles when professionally installed in Aug. 2010. It has great compression and fires right up even without glowplugs.
The following was new in 2010
    -New clutch
-New timing belt tensioner and idler
    -New full defender 200tdi exhaust
    -New fuel filter
    -New air filter
    -New heater core
    -New battery
    -New clutch master cylinder
    -All fluids replaced
    -New electric fan

Has front and rear mudflaps, original headliner. Bulkhead is completely rust free as are the footwells and has never been welded. Doors are rot free. Chassis is like new and never welded or repaired and needs nothing. Rear crossmember could get a coat of paint but it never bothered me. No nasty undercoating to hide things. Original seats with a flip up bench style second row with a seatcover on it and one inward facing for the third row but not installed. It has raised axle breathers. Cubby box (no key) which is wired for a stereo but we never installed one but it does have speakers and a retractable antenna. The whole truck has a mat installed protecting the floors and makes easy cleaning. At some time it had a vent installed in the driver side tub for the toolbox inside.
Mileage at purchase in 2008 was 218,000 kilometers (135,500). Defender engine went in at 220,000 (136,700 miles). Now has 227,700 (141,000 miles). So 200tdi has around 85,000 miles now.
    Hazzard switch does not work
Switch in brake valve needs replacing. I pulled the rubber boot off and since putting it back on makes the light illuminate.
Has a little play in the transfercase.

We have a clean CT title in our posession and all import and customs paperwork. In our 4 years it has never seen snow or rain and always garaged. I will be keeping the bullbar and it is not included in the sale nor is the front plate. I do have the original 2.5 NAD engine and will be made available to the purchaser. Located in zipcode 06790 2 hours from NYC and about 2.5 hours from Boston. Please come and see it if you can. Please PM me and I will give you my email. Let me know if anyone would like more pictures. Asking $26,000
