    The dash, windshield where it attaches to the bulkhead, the hinges and the grill all point towards a 3. The only way you will really know is to check the SN. It could very easily have be rebuilt using S3 bits though. Does it have a full syncromesh transmission?

    Wow that was certainly a very quick frame swap, paint job and detail though! Looks good.

    No, only 3 and 4 are synched.

    Hello
    as most comments had lead to it being a III. I would agree. The dash and bulk head are giveaways. The engine also looks Series III
    But, the synched should be first and second also. If not, then the trans is from a II.
    I have a 71 IIA, so I do know how they drive! I would double check the shifting again. Check the VIN.
