    Decided to go forward with a MegaJolt distributorless conversion on my early IIa. Here are a couple pics of progress so far...........

    Another pic..........Coil will mount in space previously inhabited by the distributor. All stuff I had lying around, minimal machining required. Coil came from ebay, phenolic left over from previous project.
