    Default NRP or Borla?

Just got on 04 and would like to upgrade the exhaust. Borla and NRP are around the same price give or take, and both are stainless. I had a Borla on my old 99 D2 and loved it. I currently have a NRP on my RRC and D1 and they are awesome as well. I cannot decide what to get...

Is this more for sound, build quality, or longevity?

Sound is important but i'm more interested in build quality and longevity. I dont really mind loud systems, I love a good sounding V8. I live and drive in a very salty environment year round, so quality of the stainless as well as the hardware are important to me. I would think the performance gains would about the same in both products?

Are you replacing the Y pipe as well? If you're just going from the Y-pipe back then you won't find a huge difference for performance gains, but I would guess that the gain would be similar.
