    Default RRCs from the 70s & 80s?

This is one of those annoying "gauging interest" post....

What sort of interest is there in 1970s 1980s RRCs? You know the old two door style. I have a lead on 3, and all pretty much all rust free.

If they ran, were rust free, needed TLC, and tires would these bring a meh or an OMG...OMG level of interest for ~$5K?

I had the chance of a rust free 1979 2 Door, went for $3.5K.
Even had factory A/C and PAS !

I'd be iterested if the price was right. Of course that really depends on the details of the vehicle.

We picked up a real nice LHD 1973 for around 5k. I feel the price was right but it was also a REAL clean truck. The two doors have to be my favorite Range Rovers by far, they are just cool trucks. Short wheelbase, coils, V8, standard trans... Just like a D90 at a fraction of the price!

    PM sent.
A LHD RRC 2-door without significant rust for a fair price would find a spot in my garage . . .

All good feedback, thanks. Only one of the 3 is running right now and is in need of a good bath, but its the best of the bunch. '75, 3.9L V8, white, 122 miles. Hope to get some photos next weekend. The other two may have to be combined to make one good one. If/when they go up FS, I, or the owner, will post up a new thread. Will respond to all PMs too.

I keep searching, but can't quite find the right price/condition equilibrium point to make it happen. Looked at great condition 1994 RRC with TDI the other day but owner wanted too much, price seemed to go up every other sentence....

Any news on these? I would be very interested for a reasonable price.
