I have door tops off of a S1 '57 88 model. Looking to trade for 53 '80 parts.

d90dan: Do you know if the door tops from a 1957 S1, 88" fit a 1956 S1, 80"? And do your 1957 door tops fit your 1953 Series1? I am brand new to land rovers, and have no parts yet to trade.. What condition are your 1957 door tops, do they need restoring, and need the glass ,,and do you have a price for a pair?
My 1956 Land rover is in transit, and should clear U.S. customs in about a week, I can hardly wait till it arrives. I still need a S1 hoop set, used canvas, 1 spare rim, as it has no spare tire, and a few capstan winch parts.. I am sure more parts will be needed once it arrives in Washington State.

I have a set of 56 door tops and a complete Capstan winch. I'm not sure I want to split up the Winch however.
Door tops will need new glass and plexi panels, but otherwise in great shape.
Parts are located in Vancouver Canada.

I would have someone else verify the door tops would fit. Ike at pangolin4x4 in oregon is your best bet to discuss. If you really need them i would sell, but perfer trade. Bellacoola might be a better bet, not to mention closer. Good luck with the rover.. careful they seem to multiply! Im up to 8 in the family.
