    Price: $35,000

I am selling my 1970 Land Rover Series IIA. It is in excellent condition with everything in full working order. A lot of work has been done to this truck to bring it to this level and many people state that it is the nicest Series Land Rover they've ever driven. Everything on the truck is a Land Rover part or an upgrade to a part made specifically for the Series Land Rover.

To see 95 detailed photos of the truck, scroll down below or visit the following photo gallery link:

Major highlights of the truck are:

    1. Conversion to R380 transmission mated to the original Series transfer case. This is the 5-speed transmission used in earlier Defenders. It makes the truck much easier to drive and allows for it to cruise at 70mph on flat highway stretches.

    2. Conversion to Roam Offroad 4 wheel disc brakes. This the system designed by the legendary Land Rover fabricator Timm Cooper. It uses Defender calipers, rotors, and pads. It has made the truck much safer to drive and stops faster that most modern cars.

    3. Ashcroft rear differential locker. This is similar to the ARB style lockers but has better weather and water sealing.

    4. Rear Series Trek heavy duty rear axles. I've never heard of anyone breaking one of these.

    5. Custom oak rear door table / bar / storage area made by custom kitchen carpenter. This is my favorite part of the truck. It comes with a set of glass Land Rover Series fuel pump sediment bowls that are perfect for drinking your favorite drink.

rwollschlager - Reason for the sale is that I don't drive it enough and I also want to move closer to the city where space comes at a premium.

Truck is back on eBay this time with an auction style listing:
