I have a 99 D1 with RTE 3" springs with 1" spacers. After replacing the driveshafts with DC jointed ones from ToddCo, I've now turned attention to radius arms. In terms of chewing up tires, I know that the fronts are a no brainer because of the swivel balls, but is the rear as important? If the rear axle rotates a few degrees, it shouldn't affect tire wear, right?

I know in terms of proper a-arm movement and off road articulation, it is very important. However, more pressing is the fact that I just put on a new set of 33" Mickey Thompson's and I don't want to start chewing them unevenly. I just ordered the fronts from RTE but because I'm on a budget, didn't do the rears this time around.

Not doing the rears now makes sense in my mind but if someone out there reasons otherwise, please let me know.

Thanks
