    Miss firing

My 2001 Land Rover Discovery II is acting like it is Miss firing....It's almost like it isn't getting gas or would have a bad filter, but it is an electrical issue....Not having anyone near by with the right testing equipment it seems that all they can determine is that is randomly miss fires from one cylinder to the next......I replaced the plugs and that helped some.......Where do I look for the cure?

Without test equipment, it is hard to say what the issue is, but I had a similar issue with my 2000 discovery II, and it turned out to be a cracked head. I'm not saying this IS your problem, but you ought to get it checked out.

My Misfire was from a bad distributor.......not like the old days where you remove the old one and replace in seconds...intake has to come off and there are two units........$800............runs great

Methinks you mean the coil packs, # RNI110 Genuine Coil pack or PLI110 Proline Coil Pack. You will need 2 of each of these.
