Default Need advice on purchasing D110

I am looking at buying a 1988 D110 in Italy and was looking for advice/what to look for. The engine has been replaced with a td5, the interior has been updated with that from a 2005 including AC. The owner is asking around $20k.

make sure there is no RUST on the rear crossmember, bulkhead kick panel/foot wells and door bottoms. Make sure that the tranny shifts properly... make sure the transition between first and second gear is smooth. if you have trouble shifting than your synchro might be worn out and need refreshening! make sure all indicator lights work and all other electricals.... good luck!
