Default WTB: Series IIa or III 88

I'm looking for an SWB 88 in pretty good (or better) condition to use as a semi-daily driver. I'm ok if it has some tasteful mods and/or engine swaps. Not a purist, but also don't want anything rusty or a project. Prefer LHD and if I have to get picky about color, well, I always had a soft spot for the traditional blues and greens. But then, I'm not picky about color.

I'm located in Texas but don't mind traveling for the right vehicle. After all, the return trip is half the fun, right?

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction for one.

    T-

80sailor - I happen to live in Texas as well and have about 10 land rover series vehicles and looking to part with a few. All are in really good shape and I think I might have what you want. I'll PM you.

I don't know what your budget is, but I have a nice Lightweight that would make a great semi-daily driver:
