Default 1961 - 62 Series IIa RHD truck cab

Very reluctantly I am offering for sale my Rover. Not an easy decision and I don't have to sell but I am not driving her and I am trying to cut down on some of the hobbies in my life so that I can spend more time with my family.

1961 Land Rover Series IIa. (Serial Number 24100020a, This is probably the twentieth IIa made.) Right hand drive pickup cab. I purchased this rover in the fall of 2006. From 2006 until 2008 I had the rover apart except for the tub. The engine and transmission were removed. Clutch, rear seal, wiring harness, etc. etc. replaced as needed. Repainted with Ful-cryl II acrylic enamel color code “rover 2651”. I wish I had a better place to paint and equipment so that the paint looked better. The breakfast, wing tops and bulkhead look good but the paint on the body sides is not as great. She starts every time unless sitting for long periods and then she needs a few taps of the gas pedal and a little choke. When I got her the brakes had already been converted to dual circuit power brakes using a Series III tower. She drives very nice.

Georgia does not issue titles for cars older than 1963. She is registered here in GA. I do still have the SC title.
