Broke lower ball joint on d2 whats with the 32mm nut thats split on the bottom of the arm can't get the ball joint out is it actually threaded into that, the split is factory cut not split or broke

It's threaded in and needs to be unscrewed. That nut should be the jamb nut and needs to be loosened up. It's a pretty long thread. Loosen the clamp that's near-by and remove the offending part with vice-grips, pipe wrench, or what-have-you. A little penetrating oil may speed things along. You might just need to have an alignment done after refitting. Measure the length and try to match it when reassembling things.
