1971 New Zealand Military Land Rover. Right side drive. NATO Green in color. Unique. Not a series III but doesn't have all of the features of a Series II or IIa.
Served in Vietnam but never dropped out of plane (leaf springs in great condition). Three owners since. A Captain of the NZ military bought it and owned it for 25+ yrs. He was injured in Vietnam and had the V6 and auto transmission put in. Moved to the US in 2004 and I have owned it since 2007. One of only 2 years that the Rover frames were galvanized. See pictures. Has great engine (GM 3800 V6 and automatic transmission). Hood mounts for shovel and pickax. Spare tire on hood.
I have loved this truck for 7 years but moved into place without the garage space for it. Has always been garage kept. Great truck for driving around town or in the outdoors. Driven ~500 miles per year for past 7 years.
Accommodates canvas top. I updated with photos of the Rover with the canvas top (not included) and some additional photos of the undercarriage. New tires and new windows in box. New battery. Recent tuneup. Email with questions.
I am happy to ship anywhere in the US but must be arranged and paid for by buyer. Located in Columbus, GA (1.5 hrs SW of Atlanta)
Asking $10,500
