    Question Trailering w/electric brakes

has anyone pulled a trailer w/elec brakes with an lr3 with the factory 7 plug? the dealership here seams unfamilar with putting in an actuator. the caution against splicing the trigger wire to the brake light as it may affect the monitoring system. the sales brochures say it'll drag 7700 trailer if it's braked but i haven't found how to. anyone know?
