Basic Story - My Series III broke down and needed a little help. The tow truck that came out to rescue us got stuck. We fixed my Series III and towed the tow truck out of the woods.

That looked like a good time. My immediate thought would to have been to attempt to dry the distributor with your local resources. To me at least, camping implies camp fires and I typically envision a small rock circle to contain last night's fire. Come morning, those rocks should be warm but not too hot. Rather than take the trek up the road, I would have at least attempted to try and place some warm stones close to the distributor in an attempt to get it above the dew point. Still, the video was certainly worth the effort you put into it.
