I finally got the engine for my '64 IIA running, but had some issues idling. After making a carburetor change just before dusk, my daughter noticed a very unusual phenomenon. It seems as if the truck attracts the attention of passers by, but is also the envy of some of the other cars as well. My son-in-law's car was parked about 12 yards away and the headlights of his car gave off a flickering glow that changed in response to the engine speed of the Rover.

I checked to make sure I didn't have any lights on (which I didn't), and it was clearly not a reflection of something since both headlights were doing it. I haven't checked on the type of lights in his car. Ultimately, I expected this relates to the electromagnetic of the coil, but I was quite surprised by the distance it managed to travel.

Has anyone else ever noticed this type of thing?
