Any source here in US for the cork gaskets for the military tanks - fuel cap and inside the neck?
I needed a gasket for my 109 6cly 2.6 for one of the value cover on my engine.. No one had one, my British car service just made it on the spot. It cost about $20 for the cork and $30 of labor.
Look for Jag or RR repair shop that deal with 1960 cars

I appreciate it - but somehow; the math just doesn't add up to spend that much - I will look into though.

Correction to my first post.
551743 fits the early MOD caps (with 4 prongs) which are the same as Series I fuel caps.
The later MOD caps take # RNE434 also in stock.
