Hi everyone,

I'm new to the Rovers North forum and I apologize for making my first post a 'commercial' one. However, I have a fantastic 1955 Series One that we can really no longer justify keeping - so she needs a new owner.

My wife Cat and I were owners of Land Rover Monthly magazine in the UK until about 3 years ago when we sold up and moved to California. Cat had acquired 'Jude' for her 50th birthday and, naturally, she wanted to bring this beautiful Land Rover with us to the US. Sad to say we find we are taking her out on the road less and less and, truthfully, Jude needs a new home.

We are advertising on eBay where you can check out the details and background but I have to say she really is the most beautiful machine and we will be more than heartbroken to say goodbye.

Jude was the result of a full scale restoration by UK magazine journalist Jerry Thurston and she appeared in both Land Rover Owner and Land Rover Monthly on many occasions. She graced the LRM display at pretty well all the Land Rover shows in Britain for a number of years.

She was legally imported by us into the US in 2010, has a full title and is registered and insured for use on the public highway.

We are asking $38,500 or best offer which is a fair value when rated against similar vehicles in the UK (plus the cost and hassle of importation).

Please PM me, or go through eBay, if you're interested in what is not only a fun vehicle to own, but also a sound investment for the future.

Cheers,

Rich
