Thread: Classic Armrest Reinstall

  1. #1

    Default Classic Armrest Reinstall

On final steps of restoring 1994 LWB.

Recovered armrest and don't want to pull back the leather to see how it goes back together.

I'm looking at a round post on the side of the seat with a hole top to bottom for what I suspect is a hinge pin.

Armrest fits over that post with seat all the way back.

Another smaller hole in the armrest ahead of the hole for the post.

Can feel the adjuster working, but it's not obvious how this goes back together.

Believe I am missing a pin which looks like it should go into the hole in the seat post or possibly into the smaller hole in the armrest.

Any help, or better yet photographs, much appreciated and if anyone has the pin or a spare armrest for me to tear apart, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance.
