    Default Series IIA 109

1968 Land Rover Series IIA – 5 door

    · Runs great, very solid physical condition, needs cosmetics
    · Safari roof
    · 6 cyl engine
    · Overdrive
    · Full length rack and ladder
    · Hi-Lift and mount
    · Ike Goss galvanized hitch mount

All of the costly and difficult work has been done by either Rovers North or Hale Restoration and Repair, including:

    · New galvanized frame
    · Newly rebuilt engine, with less than 1,000 miles on it:
o Bored and sleeved a block and fitted it with new pistons, rings, gaskets, etc.
o Have two additional engines (both 60/70s era Land Rover 6 cylinders) for parts – the original and another – included.
    · New wiring throughout, additional fuses, new lamps, etc.
    · New custom stainless steel exhaust system
    · New fuel pump and custom stainless steel fuel line
    · New gas tank
    · Newer brakes
    · Much more…

What’s left to do? Not much, but if you want a perfect truck maybe: needs new speedo, a better headliner, a few door panels, a seat cushion, the bottoms of the doors need help, door seals, window seals – that sort of stuff. All relatively low cost and easy DIY. I’ve had the truck for 8 years and love her, but it’s time. Asking $23k firm. Located in MA.
