Default 1975 Series III Lightweight - Diesel Conversion - $13,500

    SOLD...SOLD...SOLD

My interests have changed due to outside circumstances so if anyone is looking for an excellent Lightweight with DIESEL conversion in the US take a look at this one.

Photos of restoration and some current ones here - sorry they are not organized - http://s1166.photobucket.com/user/boxerboy22/library/

I probably have every part needed to make this right hand drive vehicle into a left hand drive. After purchasing all the bits I really found that driving on the wrong side was really not that bad so I never dove into the project. I do not think that I have put on more than 1,000 miles on the truck since I have purchased it so it is essentially in the same condition as it came out of the container - which is beautiful.

I have a 100 or so photos of the work the original conversion/restoration owner did and will happily share as well as there are many photos and additional information on the Diesel Conversion section in http://www.lightweightlandroverclub.net, just search for posts by: “daveg” and you will find the thread.

Call me at 617 285 3277 if you need additional information...I am truly sad to see this really cool truck leave my possession. I will post some additional photos as soon as I can. Lightweight is located in Boston area.

Thank you, I wish I could take credit for doing the work. My friend Dave, who did all of the work in the UK, is a real craftsman. Yes that is a 200 Tdi, originally in a Disco.

That looks like a smoking deal to me.

GLWTS, that will make a nice Christmas Present for someone.
