    Default 1961 Series 2 88

1961 Land Rover Series 2 88. Mechanically very sound. Starts up everytime. Frame has been completely rebuilt. Firewall was completely rebuilt and zero rust. Galvanized breakfast. All new electric wiring harnes. 4wd all works, high and low range. Engine is a little weak because it has not been rebuilt yet. Burns a little oil but nothing noticeable while idling or driving. Has complete hard top and back door (not shown). Also has new door tops (not shown). I started to convert it to a soft top, hence the drop down tail gate (which is new). Completely rebuilt e-brake. Brakes work great. Steering has minimal play. Front swivels leak a little and could probably be rebuilt. Cosmetically she's not great but she's easily a daily driver and a solid foundation for a low-budget restore. No low-bidders. Asking $8,900

Where is the Rover located? Pictures of roof? Tropical?

Rover is located in Charlotte, NC. Not a tropical roof and side-glass is the type that's fixed and doesn't slide. I'll uppload another photo of the truck when it had the roof on. It's in fine condition. No dents or damage. Rear door is in good condition too...frame is not rusted.

Nice paint scheme. In front of the curve with Landrover's last batch of odd coloured vehicles.
