I ended up buying a new stabilizer from Moss before I saw that guide I posted, so I figured I'd install rather than troubleshooting the old one. I should've known better because I now have a new problem: The Moss supplied stabilizer has male and female connectors (as seen in the photo in the guide). But the old stabilizer on my Rover has all female connectors and the wires have all male. Moss included a couple extra parts that might be adapters but I don't know how to use them.
They look a little like this: ___==___ (that's a male connector on each end and a female one in the middle). Any suggestions? Do I need to replace the connectors on the wires?
I think I ran into this as well and just crimped on a new connector. Other option is to use a small "splitter" that let's you turn one of the moss motor terminal/connectors into two that work. Little sleeve that slides over and leaves you with two of the same terminals coming off of the single terminal. I think ACE Hardware carries.
