    Default Vacuum Boost Source

I am in the process of adding power brakes to a 1971 2a 109 military. The intake manifold does not have location for vacuum tap. There is a vacuum port on the bottom of the Weber carb. Has anyone tried that? Will it work?

I dont think that will generate enough vacuum for the booster, a mod. of drilling and tapping a hole specifically for the vacuum (or find another intake manifold), will be the way forward.
