Default 1974 Land Rover - Series III Potential ?

Hi Guys. First time posting. I apologize if this post is in the wrong area. If so, let me know & I can redirect it to the proper location. A real good friend of mine tragically passed away a few months ago and was in the process of working on a 1974 Land Rover (Series III ??). It is now sitting in the driveway covered with leaves. I am trying to help his wife identify and move some of his hobbies. Land Rover is first on the list. The data plate info is below. Is this a viable restoration project ? It is in semi-rough condition but basically intact except for the front fenders & radiator / grill which have been removed and stored. I have many pics that I can email if anyone would like to see them. Location is Lafayette, LA. Which I could provide more info but I am a Classic Mustang guy and not at all familiar with the Land Rover models. Any feedback is very much appreciated

Willing to look at pics and give you honest assessment. Tikiandcricket@gmail.com. Rust is the biggest concern.
