    Default Tie Rod Ends

    Hi Everyone,

I am planning to replace the three tie rod ends on my 1991 RRC, and was wondering if anyone could tell me the thread hands I need to purchase so I don't have to remove them first. It is my daily driver and I don't want to take it apart and wait on the delivery. Many thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    David

Oddly enough three are RH thread and one is LH. So, you'll need three RTC5869 and one RTC5870, try to find the ones that have grease fittings. "Land Rover Toolbox Videos" on YouTube has a tutorial on changing these out.

    Hi there,

On the 91 Range Rover, all 3 are RH Thread. The LH thread is on the adjuster behind the axle and on the eye end for the drop arm for the PAS Box.

    Hi Les,

I decided to purchase the heavy duty steering rod kit from you guys. Thanks.
