Default clutch withdrawal cross shaft question

Need some help. Which way does the hole lay on the cross shaft. Is it vertical or horizontal? I took it out to put in a new bearing and forgot to mark the shaft. One of my manuals shows vertical the other shows horizontal.
I am replacing the Slave also so I do not have that as a reference to built from.
    A picture is requested.
Thanks in advance for the replys.

Horizontal - because the slave linkage uses the vertical pin.

See image. Both pins in red.
