Default It has now been 40 years

Today marks the beginning of the 40th year that I have owned my 1960 Land Rover. I purchased her in March 1978 and towed her home. I don't remember the exact date so I always mark another year passing on the 15th of March. This year is why my second book is all about the beginning of my relationship with my truck. It doesn't seem like 40 years, yet it seems like my truck has always been at my side taking me to places I would otherwise never have seen and experienced. It is truly amazing how many memories can fit into one truck and still have space to fit even more.

I thought very much on the same idea the other day. It has been 30 years since I purchased a 2 series, and made it road worthy again, while driving a (sold long gone )D90 soft top. My past memories are fond, and I continue to meet interesting Rover enthusiasts where ever I go, and we enjoy your web page and all of the information Terri. Cheers.
