Default Lt230 or Series transfer Box

my disco/series hybrid is making some progress as I am picking up a good military series III bulkhead in a couple of weeks and I have the rear tub. I have not decided whether I am going to go with a full top or a custom pickup top of some sort/length. My plan for now is to drop the 3.5 V8 out of my range rover parts truck in and either rebuild my LT77 or mate up a Jeep AX15 5 speed. Am I better off running the LT230 transfer case or the series transfer box? Or is there really no advantage? The chassis, suspension, and axles are all from a disco.

    Default LT230Q

If you go the LT77 route (V8 I guess?) the only option, without an adaptor plate, would be to go with the LT230Q t. box.
thento cut the props and get them balanced....
