    Default Loose Wiper Arm (2a)

Wiper motor works. Wiper arm follows BRIEFLY. Think knurl on shaft is loose. Can’t pull arm off knurl (or knurl off shaft). Drill through it all and safety-wire it? Advice please.

If its that tight you could split it of by cutting with a Dremel and replace with new parts . The arm will usually come off by levering between the flange on the knurled adaptor (605904) and the arm with a screw driver or similar . Name: 20220612_090431 (2).jpg

Thanks. My wipers are independent and there’s no handy ring behind the knurl. But I’ll see if I can rig something like that. Rico

The independent wipers originally had a collet and a nut in the arm that gripped the spindle from the motor, I take it yours had been fitted the knurled adaptor and later arms?
