    Default Tex magna stiff operation

I just replaced my rotten Tex Magna wheel with one of Ike's, and I notice that the stalk moves easily up for right, but requires quite a bit of effort to pull down for right. I don't want force or damage it, so I was wondering if there was a safe way to lube it up.

I had the same problem, I couldnt pull the lever down to signal a left turn all of a sudden so I just resigned myself to take it apart and see what was causing it- I'm glad I did! a itsy-bitsy screw had worked loose inside and was interfering with the switch .
Its really not a very complicated mechanism inside- I just cleaned it up real good then coated all the moving parts with some lithium grease and it operates smoothly- hopefully for another 50+ years!

    Thanks, Michelle.
