1960 Series II 109 green with safari top
1960 Series II 109 green with safari top. 2.25l gasoline, left hand drive.
I purchased this 1960 109 about a decade ago. I believe I am the 3rd or maybe 4th owner. I have offended some purists by putting defender seats in it, which was done so that I could have proper shoulder belts for my kids. Front seats are heated. The kids are grown now and it is time for another family to enjoy it. Like most old landys, it gets attention wherever it goes.
I do have the original back bench which of course comes with it. It is mechanically sound, starts easily, and i do not hesitate to drive it pretty much anywhere. All the mechanical items of gears/clutch/brakes/4wd work as it should. Chassis is in fine shape and it has a replacement rear axle (military I believe). I would be fine start for a proper restoration, or just use it as-is (it could use some door cards, but those are easily sourced). I had custom shackle points installed on front bumper so that it attaches easily to a tow bar.
PM for a link for more pics and video of startup, walk-around, etc.
Currently in Dallas, TX. Looking for around $16,500
